Returns Policy for West Essex Jewelers
All Sales Are Subject to the Following Terms and Conditions:
Buy online, return online or at our store
Merchandise purchased online may be returned in-person at our store as long as you meet the rest of this Returns Policy. If you don't live locally to our store, you can contact us via our online form to initiate a return request.
Buy in-person, return at our store or online
Merchandise purchased in-person may be returned in-person at our store as long as you meet the rest of this Returns Policy. If you don't live locally to our store, you can contact us via our online form to initiate a return request.
Easy returns for standard items
West Essex Jewelers will gladly accept the return or exchange for standard items purchased from our website or from the store. Standard items include anything that we normally stock in our inventory and are not a special or custom order or not customized in any way.
We will gladly provide a refund or an exchange as long as:
- You have the original receipt,
- The item must still be in new condition without any physical signs of damage or wear,
- You are returning it within 30 days of the date of purchase.
Items purchased with a credit card will be refunded back to the same credit card used on the original purchase. Website purchases will be refunded through the payment method you used on the website. All cash or check returns will be refunded by check within 10 days of the return.
Custom orders and special orders
Special orders, custom orders, engraved merchandise and merchandise that has been sized, altered, shows wear, or watches that have been worn are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. This is why we take so much time and pride to work with you to make your custom order exceed your needs and desires for beautiful jewelry.
Packaging, certificates, and boxes
If there is any chance that you think you might return the purchased item, make sure you keep all the original packaging, certificates, boxes, and warranties. Any merchandise not returned with the original packaging and paperwork is subject to a 10% restocking fee.
Colored gemstones
All colored gemstones are enhanced unless otherwise specifically noted in the description of the merchandise or on the paperwork accompanying your purchase. Many enhancements are permanent and undetectable, but some enhancements can become unstable and/or detectable in the future.
West Essex Jewelers shall not be liable for any reduction in value or other damage caused by an enhancement that becomes unstable or detectable. West Essex Jewelers abides by all United Nations and United States policies, including the Kimberley Process, regarding the import of gems and metals.
